  7. RE: History: Maps of the World

I am currently writing a series of books for educators on using the iPhone/ iPad apps with students. It will be published by Visions Technology in Education (http://www.teamvistech.com).  I am requesting permission to use screen captures of the apps (similar to those displayed in the iTunes® store) so that educators can see examples of how the app can be used by the students or by the teacher to prompt learning.

I am planning to devote a page to each app with a description of the features and uses in the classroom. I would also like to use the square identification graphic with the app’s title (found in the upper left corner of the screen in the iTunes store) next to the title of the app in my book . It is my thought that the graphics will call attention to the application and give educators a better idea of its use with students.

    Promo codes are sincerely appreciated.

If I have your permission to use captured screens of the applications you publish and the square title image, please reply to this email with your permission.

    Thank you very much,
    Patsy Lanclos

I would like to see the addition of Biblically historical maps included in this app. Do you think that is a possibility for the future?

  9. Harry Dickens says:

Permission for use of Screenshots. I am writing for the 21st Century Fluency Project. I would like to use screen shots from the app in the Book. Can I get an email address to send a permission form to?

    Thanks

The maps are a visual and historical joy. Please, remove the ad banner. It’s like viewing the Mona Lisa with same. I, for one, will be happy to pay.

  12. David Santos says:

Hey! how can I send you a map that I have?, is about Gran Colombia conformation, is in excellent resolution.

    Nice app by the way!

  13. Hi, I like your app, but have decided that it is too big for what I want to download. I can’t seem to get rid of it, though. It keeps trying to update a download. I have deleted it everywhere that I can find it on my computer and on the iPod that I use, but it keeps coming back. Do you have any suggestions?

  14. PC says:

This app is truly amazing! But, ads have been added to the world maps app. I realize that ads are necessary, but please don’t make them appear as a banner across the screen! I really don’t want to delete your app but it may come to that. Make the ad a prompt when the app is opened instead. Just a suggestion.

    Dear Seung-Bin,

I am a history teacher in the Netherlands (childrens age between 13 & 16).
I would really like to use your app in my classes, the only problem is that I don’t have an Iphone, but an Android phone (so do most of my students).

My question is: Are you currently making these apps useable on Android phones or are you planning to?

    I hope you are.

    Greetings,

    Erik

thank you for this great application, but there is some minor issues I would like to discuss about. first, can you develop a version that fits with the Nokia operating systems such as the Symbian Anna, and belle. secondly, a more wide range of numbers of these historically magnificent maps. finally, a more user-friendly interface for choosing the dates of the maps.
